Many Roads One Voice
Rachel was musical director for this unique choir event for the Alice Springs Desert Festival, Sept, 2008.

“An audience of over 1000 people attended the concert and witnessed the unique project that brought together four of Australia’s leading vocal talents to work with 8 Central Australian choirs over 250 singers in total, over the course of one week. The Alice Desert Festival Program Co-ordinator Franca Barraclough claimed, “ It was the best event I have ever seen in Alice Springs”  KOORI MAIL

Jan 21st -30th Song writing workshops, Ernabella Community S.A.
In January, 2009, Rachel worked with Beth Sometimes of Ngarpartji Ngarpartji working with young women in Ernabella to write songs. Some GREAT songs were written and recorded to CD.

Rachel was part of the CAAMA Music and Dance for Life project at Willowra Community, NT, teaching singing and keyboard skills to young women.

Titjikala Choir
In October 2009, Rachel travelled to Titjikala in NT to work with Margaret Campbell and the Titjikala choir. They sang acapella in 3 part harmony, learnt new songs and recorded a demo CD of six songs. Beautiful singing!
